Off track..again

Here is the list of things that make me look like I was a good mom...
1.I took the kids to Park City twice for ski lessons
(the lessons included equipment and a 4 hour lesson for $25 a kid...translation...4 hours without the older 2 kids crying and time with my mom and grandma)
2.I took the kids to Discovery Gateway
(translation..I got to talk to a friend and the 2 older kids disappeared for 2 hours)
3.Arranged for the kids to see Chipmunks..the sequel
(translation..the kids saw the dumbest movie on the planet with their Aunt and Uncle while Kevin and I got to escape!)
4. Signed the kids up for a Kidsport afternoon
(translation...kids got excercise while I got an afternoon free)
5. Took the youngest to the Gale Museum
(translation...2 hours of talking with another friend)
6. Took the youngest ice skating
(translation..OUCH my back is killing me!)

There are 2 sides to EVERY story...while it may appear that I am a active "fun" mom..the truth is, I would PAY to get them out of my hair when they are off-track!!

Translation-I think you are really neat and i am glad we are friends.

PS what is the Gale Museum?

The Gale Museum is a free museum in South Jordan. It has a play area that is like a pioneer school house, one that is an old time store, and another that is a farm. The kids have a lot of fun there.

I think you still qualify as cool and fun because there are definitely much less enriching ways to get kids out of your hair (Dora the Explorer, anyone?).
