What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? Held a python..for a whole second..

Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Every day I set a resolution...and every night I go to bed disappointed...so I don't believe in a resolution that lasts a whole year!

Did anyone close to you give birth? No...come on sisters-in-law!

Did anyone close to you die? NO! Horray for modern medicine!

What countries did you visit? None this year..the new passport laws are dumb!

What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? Order in the house.

What was your biggest achievement of the year? I helped plan a wedding! The primary kids knew all of the primary songs perfectly for the program! I had soo much fun doing both!

Did you suffer illness or injury? I didn't..but Kevin tore his ACL..bummer! Rylee broke her wrist

Whose behavior merited celebration? Rylee did a great job in the category of dance in the Reflections contest. Ben adjusted well to 2 different school classes..which was really hard for him. Paige is just growing up so quickly!

What did you get really, really, really excited about? Our anniversary trip to Florida..sans kids! (I was excited once the packing was done, anyway)

What do you wish you’d done more of? What do you wish you’d done less of?

How did you spend Christmas? Had the in-laws over for Christmas Eve. On Christmas, after watching my kids do thier thing, I went to my Grandma Whistles house and then to my parents. Low stress day


What was your favorite TV program? Smallville is the only show we tend to watch on a regular basis. I mostly like it because Kevin likes it, and he invites me to watch it with him.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Like I would post it!

What was the best book you read? Elaine's circle, 32 third graders and one class bunny.. All the books I read were the best, well, twilight was entertaining..but not really the "BEST" I also read a manuscript of a book a friend wrote, I was so impressed that this girl that I knew, had that complex of a story in her head. That was amazing to me!

What was your greatest musical discovery? That Rylee could learn so much piano in such a short amount of time

What is something new you got this year? I can't think of anything off the top of my head... Oh yea, wrinkles! Oh, and a new shower in my bathroom! Oh, and this laptop!

What did you want and not get? A steam mop.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 35 in 2009..what did I do..it was over a year ago, how do you expect someone as old as me to remember? Oh yea, my hubby threw me a surprise party! It was awesome and I really was surprised because it was 2 weeks after my birthday!

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If I could have discovered my hidden talent, without having to work at it!

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? My friends tell me I wear jeans every single day...so jeans and a shirt will do it!

What kept you sane? Who says I am?


Who did you miss? My sister and her family.
