So, Saturday was the day from Hades for me..Kevin worked the entire day and my schedule was over booked. I had to be 2 places at the same time for most of the day..anyway, I digress...
So, we had our ward primary activity. I got there late, which isn't a good thing if you are the primary chorister..so sorry everyone..but I digress again.
So, at the end of the activity, while we were waiting for the Rupprecht family (and others who I will be nice and not name!) to come pick up their kids..I had to entertain the lovely children with my not-so-lovely voice.
I decided to go with an old favorite "Do as I'm doing."
I was wrestling my four-year-old during the whole singing extravaganza..so I invited her to show us what we should do.
Paige gets up in front, and happy as can be, starts rolling her arms. I am a proud mom thinking.."My girl will someday be a primary chorister like her mom."
I was proud..for a moment.
Suddenly, I look down..Paige is no longer rolling her arms
but, alas...she is digging deep within her nose. I look out at the other kids..they are doing as she is doing!
I apologize to the parents whose children picked up a nasty habit at the primary party..it is all my Paigey's fault..NOT MINE!
I sure hope that in the future, when she gets stuck being the primary chorister she can pick a less nasty thing to do while "doing as I am doing..follow follow me!"

parents, proud one moment and humiliated in the next. So sorry about the chicken illness. If I thought it wasn't food poisoning I would have forgone that visit. And yes a monument to mom's chicken is a splendid idea! BTW I got roped into primary last Sunday too.
That's too funny! I completely missed it since I was behind her playing the piano. I had no idea that's what she was doing when you told them all to stop doing as she was doing.
Paige totally made my day! It was so cute and funny - ahh the innocence of childhood!
I'd say blame that trait on your husband. It's what I do whenever they do anything undesirable.
I'm sorry we were late. It's all Rob's fault - I told him to be in charge of the primary activity part of our day. And Kylie already knows how to pick her nose very well. Gross!
LOL!!
Ya know Stacy...I saw Paige picking her nose over here the other day while she was playing with Maddie...I asked "Where did you learn to do that?" And she said "My mom!"
JK...makes for a good blog comment, though.
That is SO funny! I got a good laugh! Kids are always doing something crazy. I love how honest they are! :) Let's get the girls together soon.
Ha! You should be so proud. That is pretty funny and a little bit nasty.
Thanks for some lovely conversation and cheesecake/enormous brownie sundae last night. As I eat the leftovers today, I will think of you and the fun we had.
