I read the book Escape by Carolyn Jessop and her life as a polygamist. I was so affected that I began to yearn for Zion too! So, since it was UEA weekend, we headed for Zion...and Bryce.. and St.George. It was a great break!
We went with my parents and my brother Nate. It was really fun and the kids loved it. We hiked down into Bryce Canyon..but more impressive was that the kids also hiked out! It was a beautiful weekend and a fabulous trip.

I love Zion. We used to go every year as kids for Easter. Where did you stay? (and why didn't you take me with you?)
I am lucky enough to have my parents live in Cedar City. We stayed with them, ate their food and drove them crazy!
Cute family photos... I really like UEA what a great excuse to take a fun vacation. Have you guys done Mesa Verde? Westickler07 just went there and it was great.

I read that Jessop book too. I think Jill recommended it. Whoa..totally makes you appreciate the life you have! I didn't realize it was that bad in those compounds. Very interesting.
