Ben had his musical, 1001 Arabian Nights.

He said his part very well. The play was fun to watch. Ben recieved the "Mad Scientist" award as well as The Most Improved award. He definetly was the most improved. We are proud of how hard he worked in math this year!
Last weekend Kevin and Ben went to a Father and Son campout. Rylee, Paige and I invited some friends over. Some of the friends didn't leave until 2:30 am.. It took me 3 days to get over that one! The boys had a blast, except that Kevin slept in and Ben wandered away from camp, unseen by anyone else! Make a mom nervous!!
Oh yea, and there was a lake that Ben fell into fully dressed in the only clothes he brought!
It is so nice to have some fun things to write about. On July 2, Ben turned 9.

(see picture of cake) We had a fun party in our backyard including water balloons, water guns, waterslide and fireworks. We had about 30 people over. Ben felt well loved! For his birthday we took him to the dinosaur museum. I thought he had outgrown his obsession with dinosaurs, but alas, this was the only place he wanted to go.

The girls enjoyed it and hadn't remembered going there,so that was good. We topped it off by going to Chuckarama- Ben's favorite restraunt. Yes, he really can eat and that place is the only place he feels full. Hopefully he grows soon!
On the Fourth, We went to the West Jordan parade, which went right by our neighborhood. We watched fireworks on the 3rd, 4th and 5th from our backyard (which looks fabulous now that we have a basketball hoop!) We were invited over to a friends house for a bbq and fireworks. It was good fun and the kids were wet, dirty, and tired at the end so that equals a successful night.
Today we took it easy and went to WallE. It was a cute show- a little short on dialogue though! I was surprised to read the credits that people actually were assigned as voiceovers for the robots!
Paige has turned into a cutie.

2 was a really bad year, but three has been good. Her hair has outgrown Rylee's beauty school attempt, she is potty trained, and she is learning to listen. (At least for now!)
Busy couple of weeks- now you are updated!

Sounds like a good time. Happy birthday to Ben, I can't believe is 9! Time goes to fast.
Paiges' bike is rather fabulous. Wes saw is and is now coveting it, only not pink.
And were those suckers on Ben's cake? Very clever!
It's good to see you are still the party animal I know and love! Have a fun packed summer!....(that sounded like i just signed your year book!)lol
