Oh,a little over a month ago, my baby turned 5! It was an 'off' year for a friend party..meaning that she wasn't supposed to have one this year. If you know Paige's momma though, that doesn't really mean anything!
She and two of her friends went to Jungle Jims Playland on the actual anniversary of her birth. They had so much fun together. Three and a half hours later, they still didn't want to go home. Mom decided enough was enough when all three of them fell asleep on the swings. The 'rollercoaster' was the favorite ride, which is funny because they were all to chicken to go on it at first. All it took was one brave soul to dare the others to try it..and they all suddenly got brave!
On the Sunday after her birthday, the Carling side of the family came to Paige's house for a party. We had dinner and played a rambunctious game of 'get the marshmellows into the cup.' Uncle Greg even played along..what a good sport.
We love our Paige..she is some kinda spunky gal. There is definately a reason she was born on the only day of the year that is a command...March Fourth!!

I so wish we could have been there! I'd forgotten about "heavy, heavy hangover..."! WHAT is so interesting in the newspaper that Greg and Mom are reading it during b-day celebrations?! Great picture of the true Carling side of the family ;)
I would have done the marshmallow game--looks fun!
